CSRA Life Saver is a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. We also offer vaccines, heartworm testing/prevention, flea and tick prevention, and microchipping. All of our fees are on "Our Fees/Aftercare" page. Although we would like to help with sick or injured animals, we ARE NOT a full service veterinary clinic. So, any pet medical issues or emergencies should be taken directly to a local full service veterinary clinic.
**Every dog needs to be on a leash, and every cat needs to be in a carrier. No Exceptions. This is for everyone's safety, your animals first and foremost. When you have your cat in your arms and you open our front door, you have no idea what kind of big dog may be on the other side that thinks of kitties as a snack. Though we have not had any serious issues, we want to avoid any that may arise.**
*Attention* Please note that we need everyone signed in for vaccines 30 minutes prior to closing to ensure your pet gets seen before the veterinarian leaves. Once the veterinarian leaves, we no longer can do vaccines. Thank you for your cooperation in advance. 7-11-2014 IMPORTANT MESSAGE for our CSRA Life Saver family! For all of our loyal CSRA Life Saver clients, and any new faces we have yet to meet: In an effort to keep us in compliance with AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) guidelines, we will be implementing a physical exam for a minimal fee of $5.00 per animal. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING: All pets, regardless of past visits with us, will have to be examined by the veterinarian prior to any and all medicine dispensing which includes Trifexis, Iverhart Max, and Comfortis. This Exam is Good for One Full Year! THIS WILL INCLUDE TRIFEXIS, IVERHART MAX, AND COMFORTIS. We at CSRA Life Saver apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as we strive to meet the AVMA guidelines for clinics of our type. Thank you for your patience during this time, and we value your patronage. ~ CSRA Life Saver Management and Staff ~
8-3-2014 We have successfully spayed and neutered over 20,000 animals since opening in 2003. This HAS to be making a difference in the amount euthanized in the CSRA each year. With your help, we can decrease the amount euthanized which is around 13,000 every year due to severe over population. Please make the responsible choice and have your pet fixed. At these prices, and with other local discounted clinics, there isn't a reason not to have it done.
